Funded Trading Plus Case Study: 42% Growth in Affiliate Sales After Migrating to Tracknow
See how Funded Trading Plus connected its CRM to Tracknow, preserved purchase history and applied accurate affiliate commissions to first and repeat purchases.
Funded Trading Plus + Tracknow
An affiliate programme migrated, integrated and tested
We migrated Funded Trading Plus’s affiliate programme to Tracknow, connected affiliate tracking to the company’s CRM purchase records, and completed end-to-end testing of the purchase-to-commission workflow before rollout.

What Funded Trading Plus needed at the start
Funded Trading Plus came to Tracknow with an existing affiliate programme and a clear implementation brief: migrate the programme, connect affiliate software to the company’s CRM purchase records, and establish a reliable workflow for tracking challenge purchases and partner commissions.
The business goal was to support growth of affiliate-driven programme sales without breaking commercial rules already promised to partners. That required purchase attribution, first- and repeat-purchase commission logic aligned with published rates, partner discount-code support, eligibility controls before payout, and reporting that both the internal team and partners could use day to day.
The objectives agreed at the beginning
- Move the affiliate programme to Tracknow and carry over the partner and purchase-context records agreed for migration.
- Connect affiliate activity with the customer and purchase information held in Funded Trading Plus’s CRM so commission logic used the same purchase truth as operations.
- Apply the correct first- and repeat-purchase commission rules, and support agreed partner discount codes.
- Complete attribution, commission and reporting tests before finishing the rollout, then leave the team with a working basis for growing the channel.
What the affiliate software had to support
The requirements came from Funded Trading Plus’s purchase journey. An affiliate can introduce a customer through a tracking link or an agreed discount code, and that customer can return for another Instant, 1-Step or 2-Step purchase. The software had to preserve that partner relationship across purchases and apply the published first- and repeat-purchase rates as each eligible purchase was recorded.
For teams evaluating affiliate software in prop evaluations, these are the capability checks that mattered in this project — not a feature list for its own sake, but the minimum needed to run the programme without manual workarounds.

How we completed the migration and CRM integration
Step 01
We mapped the existing programme and agreed the setup
We started with the programme’s requirements: how referrals were attributed (links and discount codes), which purchases qualified for commission, how first- vs repeat-purchase rates were applied, and which CRM fields the affiliate workflow needed in order to stay consistent with operations.
That produced a shared implementation scope. Configuration followed Funded Trading Plus’s commercial rules and its existing process for reviewing affiliate earnings before payout.
Step 02
We migrated the programme to Tracknow
The affiliate programme was migrated to Tracknow, including the partner and purchase-context records agreed for transfer. The prior tracking stack is confidential; the work focused on making migrated information usable in the new setup and preserving the context partners and operators needed after cutover.
The distinction between first and repeat purchases was the highest-risk detail during the move. A customer’s first order recorded in a new tracking platform is not necessarily their first purchase from Funded Trading Plus. Without carrying purchase history correctly, the platform would over-pay first-purchase rates on returning customers.
Step 03
We integrated Tracknow with Funded Trading Plus’s CRM
We connected Tracknow with the company’s CRM so the affiliate workflow could use the customer and purchase information required by the programme. Integration details and the CRM product remain confidential; functionally, purchase events needed for attribution and commission calculation were linked into the Tracknow workflow.
With migration and integration completed, both teams had a connected path to validate: partner referral → challenge purchase → correct commission rule → record suitable for review and partner reporting.
What we tested before completing the rollout
After migration and CRM integration, we tested the connected workflow against the agreed requirements. Checks covered attribution, purchase information, commission rules and the records shown to Funded Trading Plus’s team and its partners. Rollout proceeded only after these implementation tasks were resolved.

Migration, CRM integration, tracking and commission handling were brought together in a working setup, and Funded Trading Plus continued affiliate operations on Tracknow.
What the completed setup gave Funded Trading Plus

The completed setup connected partner referral, customer purchase, commission record and review. First and repeat purchases followed their applicable rules, while partners could see activity and earnings in the dashboard. 2
For a prop trading evaluation business, the commercial event that matters for affiliates is the eligible challenge purchase. Trader performance-based payouts remain a separate part of Funded Trading Plus’s offering and are not treated as affiliate commission events. 1
Funded Trading Plus retained control over transaction eligibility, commission approval and its affiliate payout process. Tracknow supplied the tracking, commission and reporting infrastructure that supported those operations.
What changed after the migration
The chart below shows an indexed view of Funded Trading Plus’s affiliate channel over six months before migration and six months after the transition to Tracknow. Absolute values are withheld. Both series are independently indexed to 100 in the final pre-migration month. The post-migration period shows gradual monthly improvement rather than a one-off spike at cutover — which is what you would expect when migration preserves history correctly and the channel keeps compounding.
By month +6, indexed affiliate-attributed challenge sales had reached 142 (+42% vs the final pre-migration month), while the indexed count of partners generating approved purchases had reached 125 (+25%). These figures describe the observed channel trend after the transition; they are not a controlled experiment that isolates software as the only cause of growth.

Metric definitions. Affiliate-attributed challenge sales = value of approved challenge purchases attributed to affiliates, excluding cancelled and refunded orders. Partners generating approved purchases = distinct affiliates with at least one approved purchase in the month. Absolute sales figures and partner counts remain confidential. The calendar migration date is not shown.
Decisions that shaped the project
The points below summarise the requirements and decisions that drove the engagement. Client team names, the previous tracking stack and the CRM product are confidential and are not quoted as an interview.
Starting objective
Move the affiliate programme to Tracknow, connect it with CRM purchase records, and leave a working path from referral → purchase → commission → review, with reporting usable by operators and partners as the channel grew.
Software evaluation criteria
Must-haves were tracking links and discount codes, first- and repeat-purchase commissions at the published 15% / 5% rates, CRM-connected purchase data, real-time partner reporting, and eligibility controls before payout — matching how customers buy Instant, 1-Step and 2-Step programmes and how Funded Trading Plus runs partner operations.
Migration risk that received the most attention
First vs repeat purchase status. An order recorded for the first time in the new platform is not automatically a first purchase from the business. The setup had to apply the correct terms when existing customers returned.
Why CRM integration mattered
Customer and purchase information already sat in the wider operating process. Connecting that purchase truth to Tracknow kept affiliate commissions aligned with the same events operations used — and gave both teams one connected setup to test.
How readiness was confirmed
The teams worked through migration and integration checks, purchase attribution, first- and repeat-purchase commission scenarios, and the records used for reporting and approval. Implementation tasks were closed before rollout was treated as complete.
Operational outcome for the team
Funded Trading Plus completed the move with CRM-connected purchase data and the agreed affiliate workflow in place. The team kept control of transaction review and commercial decisions; partners retained access to activity and earnings. That became the operating foundation for developing the channel further.
What this means if you are choosing affiliate software
- Model the real purchase journey first. Prop evaluation programmes usually need challenge-purchase events, not trader-payout events, as the commission basis.
- Demand first/repeat logic that survives migration. If history is not carried correctly, returning customers look like first purchases and commissions inflate.
- Require both link and promo-code attribution if creators promote with discount codes as well as URLs.
- Connect purchase truth from your CRM/ops stack before trusting partner dashboards — affiliate software should not invent a second source of purchase reality.
- Keep operator approval in the loop when refunds, eligibility and payouts are part of the programme.
- Test before cutover with the scenarios above; treat “configured” as incomplete until attribution, commissions and reporting reconcile.
The outcome
Tracknow completed Funded Trading Plus’s implementation brief: programme migration, CRM-connected purchase records, and tested purchase-to-commission workflow with partner reporting and operator review. In the six months after migration, the indexed affiliate-attributed challenge-sales series rose from 100 to 142 (+42%), and the indexed series for partners generating approved purchases rose from 100 to 125 (+25%), relative to the final pre-migration month. Absolute figures remain confidential. The indexed results showed steady growth in affiliate-attributed challenge sales and the number of partners generating approved purchases over the six months following migration.
